02-04-25 Teddy Bear has come to us from a home, but due to his owners health issues, he was brought into our care. True to his name, he’s an absolute sweetheart! Teddy Bear is soft, gentle, and just a little bit shy.

Right now, he’s feeling overwhelmed by all the changes, and while he can be a little shy, he’s easy to handle once he feels safe and loves to sit on your lap and have a cuddle. We don’t think he’s had much experience with the outside world beyond his home, so everything is new to him. Because of this, he’d love a calm, adult only home where he can settle in at his own pace.

Teddy Bear has moved straight into a foster home, where he is settling in well and already enjoying human company. Teddy Bear can have some jealousy issues around other dogs and so we feel he would be best suited to being homed with a female dog who was around his size or a little larger than him. He would like a quiet home with adopters who are around most of the time and have lots of time to spend with him.

Since he’s from a home, he may already be familiar with house training, though he might have a few accidents as he adjusts. Given time, patience, and love, Teddy Bear will make the perfect little lap dog, he just needs the right home to help him come out of his shell.

If you’re looking for a gentle companion to cherish, Teddy Bear could be the one for you!
