08-05-25 Honey is a frightened little girl who has come to us from a breeder and is still learning that the world can be a kind and safe place. She relies heavily on the comfort of her kennel friends and will absolutely need a calm, kind resident dog in her forever home to help guide her and give her the confidence she’s missing right now.

Honey is hand-shy and a little flighty when being handled – not because she doesn’t want love, but simply because she doesn’t yet know what it means to be truly cared for. With gentle reassurance, patience, and lots of tender loving care, we know she will begin to trust and open up.

She’s never lived in a home before, so everything will be new to her – from the sounds of everyday life to learning about house training. Her adopters will need to be understanding and offer her the time and space she needs to settle at her own pace. Honey is a tiny, delicate little lady just trying to find her place in this big, sometimes overwhelming world. But in the right home, with love and support, she will surely blossom into the happy, cherished companion she was always meant to be.
