Ademus
A Shy Boy with a Big Heart Ready to Bloom
Ademus is a 2-year-old Shih Tzu cross Yorkshire Terrier who has come to us from a breeder. Having never lived in a home before, he is only just beginning to discover what it means to be loved and cared for. The world is still a little overwhelming for this sensitive boy, but each day he shows more of the playful, affectionate dog he’s meant to be.
Ademus has recently gone into foster care, and in just a few days he’s made wonderful progress. He is doing well with house training, sleeps soundly through the night, and enjoys his daily walks. He travels well in the car and is very respectful with other dogs, particularly older ones. He would be happy in a home with one other dog or in a multi-dog household, as he takes great comfort and confidence from his canine companions.
Although he’s still unsure about people when they’re standing, Ademus lights up when his fosterer sits down, happily snuggling in for a fuss and enjoying gentle cuddles. He greets his foster mum with tail wags and playful bows, even if she’s only been gone a moment. He absolutely loves toys and has a funny habit of collecting shoes that aren’t tucked away.
Ademus will need a kind and patient family who can help him continue to grow in confidence. A secure garden would be ideal for him to play and bond with his new doggy friend at his own pace. His underbite only adds to his charm and doesn’t hold him back one bit.
With time, gentle guidance, and lots of love, Ademus will become a devoted and happy little companion. If you’re looking for a sweet soul to share your heart and home, Ademus might just be your perfect match.
