Ava
Ava is a sweet and gentle little lady who came to us from a breeder to start her journey toward a loving forever home. While her travel documents list her as a Cavachon, we believe she’s predominantly Bichon, but whatever her mix may be, Ava is an absolute sweetheart.
When she first arrived, Ava was understandably timid and overwhelmed. With her delicate frame, soulful eyes, and soft nature, she captured hearts right away. She had never experienced life in a home before, so everything, from house training to lead walking, was brand new. But in a calm, loving foster environment, Ava has made wonderful progress.
Now, Ava’s playful side is shining through. She’s full of energy and confidence when interacting with dogs of all sizes, and she truly thrives in the company of other dogs. She especially loves having canine friends to cuddle and sleep beside, so a home with at least one kind and confident resident dog is a must.
Ava is affectionate and loves snuggling with both people and dogs. She brings laughter and joy to her foster home with her growing personality. She’s doing very well with her potty training, with only the occasional slip, and although she walks slowly on a lead for now, she’s steadily building confidence with every outing.
Ava could live with dog-savvy teenagers who will give her space and time to continue settling in. With a consistent routine, gentle encouragement, and the companionship of other dogs, Ava is blossoming into a charming, loving companion and she’s ready to find a forever home where she can continue to thrive.
