  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I have never walked on a lead or harness before and will need to learn.

  • Training needs

I am slowly picking up on new skills in the home - including house training!

  • Medical issues

I am spayed and ready to find my forever home.

Chicory came to us from a breeder and is now ready to find her forever home. Just a year old and only 4.5kg, she's a gentle, sensitive little soul who arrived feeling overwhelmed by all the recent changes, often looking up at us with worried eyes.

Chicory has quickly found herself in foster and is making steady progress each day. Initially very timid, she is slowly gaining confidence and beginning to blossom. She now eats and sleeps well, settling in downstairs with the other dogs in the home. She has started to follow them outside for toilet breaks and is learning by watching their routines.

Though she still has a way to go, Chicory is very easy to handle and is starting to enjoy affection and cuddles. She recently had a bath and a trim, and she looks completely different, like a dog ready for a fresh start.

Chicory will need a calm, confident resident dog in her new home, someone smallish she can snuggle with and learn from, as she continues building her confidence. Having never lived in a home before, she’ll need gentle guidance as she learns house training and how to walk on a lead and harness.

This sweet, beautiful girl has already come so far and has so much potential. With patience, love, and the right canine companion, she will truly shine.

Chicory has a travel document.
