Glow
Glow has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived, she was very overwhelmed to find herself here and was a very shy girl who was quite unsure about us. Since then, she has really started to come out of her shell and has turned into the sweetest, most affectionate girl.
She is now confident enough that we would consider homing her as an only dog in the right circumstances, as long as her adopters were around most of the time and had experience with worried dogs. She would also be happy to share her home with another kind resident dog. We would consider homing her with dog savvy, older teenagers who would give her time to settle in at her own pace. She would benefit from adopters who have Chow Chow experience and understand their specific needs and temperament.
Glow has now learned to walk on a lead and absolutely loves going for walks and will walk nicely by your side. Although she loves her walks, she is also quite content to spend time relaxing in her bed and having some fuss and attention.
She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She is already mostly kennel clean, so this should make house training easier.
With time, patience, and plenty of love, we believe Glow will blossom into a wonderful companion. She just needs a chance to shine.
Glow has received surgical treatment to repair the bilateral entropion's at the time of spay. She also arrived with sore, scabby skin around her neck, which has been treated.
Glow has a travel document.
