Larry's Journey From Shy to Shine

Larry is a 3-year-old Bichon Frise cross Poodle who has come to us from a breeder to find the forever home he's always deserved. Gentle and endearing, Larry has never lived in a home before, so he will need kind adopters who can help him learn about house training, lead walking, and all the new sights and sounds of home life.

Since arriving, Larry has come on beautifully and is starting to show his true character. He has begun harness training and is taking it in his stride, especially with the support of his playful kennel friends. Larry finds confidence in the company of other dogs, so he will need a home with at least one friendly resident dog to help guide him. He gets along wonderfully with both males and females.

While he was initially quite shy, Larry has made lovely progress and now enjoys a fuss from those he trusts. He may still be a little unsure in new situations, so he will thrive in a calm home with patient adopters who can continue to build his confidence gently. As he grows in trust, his affectionate and cheeky side is beginning to shine through.

Larry could live with kind, dog-savvy children aged 12 and over who will give him the space and respect he needs as he continues to settle.
