16-05-25 Norman has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for the loving forever home he truly deserves. He’s a sweet little lad who finds himself feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the changes in his life. Everything is very new and unfamiliar to him, and he’s still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place.

Norman is a shy boy and can be a little grumbly if approached too quickly. We believe this is due to poor vision, which understandably leaves him feeling worried at times. Once he knows you’re kind and patient, he shows his gentle nature and just wants to feel safe.

Norman is looking for a calm and quiet home with a kind, confident resident dog who can help show him the ropes. Having a canine companion will really help him settle and build his confidence. He’s never lived in a home before, so everything from walking on a lead to house training will be brand new to him. His adopters will need to be patient and understanding as he learns about home life and blossoms into the wonderful dog we know he can be.

Norman arrived with dry eyes and scarring in his left eye, which has left him with no vision in this eye. He has corneal hyperpigmentation in his right eye and is receiving treatment to try and make this eye more comfortable for him. He has had 10 teeth extracted at the time of his neuter and our vets noted that he also has a low-grade luxating patella in his right leg, which may improve with gentle, regular exercise. Norman has a travel document.
