17-05-25 Obbie is a very scared little boy who has come to us from a breeder. According to the breeder, Obbie has once lived in a home so a kennel environment is understandably a little overwhelming for him. He is very worried to find himself here and if he feels fearful he can panic and choose to make the wrong decision as he is just so scared. Once he knows you, he does accept and quite likes a cuddle but he can be easily startled and so we are looking for an experienced adult only home with adopters who have had scared dogs like Obbie before.

Obbie relies heavily on his kennel friends for comfort and will need a calm and quiet adult only home where there is at least one kind resident dog to be his friend and guide him with how to live in a home with humans who will love him. As we are told that he has lived in a home previously, we don't have much information on for how long and what training he may have had. Therefor, his new adopters may need to help him with house training and mastering walking on a lead. Obbie needs adopters who understand and have the time, love and patience to help him discover the joys that his new life will bring. Obbie has been tested around cats and seems to pay them no mind so he can be homed with dog-savvy cats who respect his space.

Lead walking will need to start in the garden to make sure he is comfortable wearing a harness and lead before venturing out in the world. Obbie really needs that extra special person who can see the potential he has to become a wonderful friend.
