17-04-25 Meet Casper – A Handsome Schnauzer Sweetheart

Say hello to Casper, a young and wonderfully handsome ex-stud Schnauzer who’s recently arrived from Ireland, complete with his travel document and a hopeful heart.

Like many of our dogs, Casper has never lived in a home, so the world of sofas, walks, and cuddles is all new to him. That means he’ll need help learning things like housetraining and lead walking, and will benefit from an understanding owner who’s happy to take things slow. Luckily, Casper is docile, gentle, and easy to handle, so he should start to settle quickly.

He’s a friendly boy who will come and say hello in classic Schnauzer style – with curiosity and a spark of spirit. While he’s quiet now, we expect that once he feels safe and confident, his playful personality will begin to shine through.

Casper must have a kind resident dog in his new home to help guide him and boost his confidence. He adores the company of other dogs and takes comfort in their presence.

Schnauzers make clever, loyal, and quirky companions – and Casper is already showing signs of being a real gem. He may have had a tough start, but he’s ready for a lifetime of love, fun, and gentle care.

Casper is being treated for a ear infection and our vets have noted he has narrow ear canals.
