A Sweetheart with So Much Love to Give

Pukka Pie is a 7-year-old Bichon Frise who has come to us from a breeder. After a life without the comforts of a home, she is now ready to find the love and care she has always deserved. Pukka Pie has never lived in a home before, so she will need kind adopters who can help her learn about house training, daily routines, and what it means to be part of a family. She is so loving towards people that she could be very happy as an only dog or live with other dogs, as long as she has plenty of human company and affection.

This beautiful girl has truly started to shine. She can walk nicely on the lead and absolutely loves to greet people, often asking sweetly for fuss and cuddles. Her gentle nature makes her a joy to spend time with, and she would thrive in a calm, caring home where she can be close to her people.

Pukka Pie has been cat tested and was very calm and respectful, so could live with a feline friend given careful introductions. Although she is mostly deaf, she is learning to navigate the world with confidence and now copes well even in busier places. She enjoys getting out and about, especially when it means meeting new people who are happy to give her some love.

She also has some ongoing health considerations. Our vets have noted that she has narrowed ear canals which will need regular cleaning to help prevent discomfort or infection. She has shown signs of allergies and is currently on medication to help manage any itching. During her spay, two mammary lumps were removed, and she also had four teeth extracted. These will be considered pre-existing conditions and won't be covered by standard pet insurance policies.
