Piano is a stunning, sweet-natured girl who has come to us from a breeder, hoping to find the loving forever home she’s always deserved. Though she’s gentle and sensitive at heart, she’s currently feeling overwhelmed by the many big changes in her life. Everything is new and unfamiliar, and she’s still finding her feet, but with time, patience, and love, we know she’ll truly blossom.

Since arriving, Piano has settled into kennel life as best she can, but it’s clear that this isn’t where she’s going to thrive. She gets excited to see familiar faces at her kennel door, yet once you’re inside, she drops to the ground and tries to make herself as small as possible. Out on walks, she’s made huge strides: where she once would army crawl along the floor, she now walks on a lead with growing confidence. That said, she still finds the outside world overwhelming, and if something startles her, she may freeze or flip onto her back. Despite this, she’s trying hard every single day, and those small glimpses of progress speak volumes.

Piano is an active girl at heart and would love a home with an active, patient family ready to help her grow in confidence. She will need a kind and confident resident dog to guide her and show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. Having never lived in a home before, she’s still learning about home life—including house training and other basic skills, but she’s eager to learn and connect.
