17-04-25 Layla – A Hidden Gem Ready to Shine

Meet Layla, a sweet Bichon lady who’s swapped her breeding days for belly rubs and biscuits! This beautiful girl has come to us from Ireland with her travel documents in paw and her heart wide open for a fresh start.

Unlike some ex-breeding dogs, Layla has a quiet confidence about her. She’s still got a lot to learn about home life, having never lived in one before, but she’s already showing signs that she’s ready to embrace the good life, think soft beds, gentle walks, tasty dinners, and lots of love. Because of her brave and affectionate nature, she may even suit someone who hasn’t adopted an ex-breeder before but is ready to go slowly and patiently.

She’s got a waggy tail, loves giving kisses, and absolutely melts for affection, she’ll even let out a funny little “ahhhh” when you give her a good fuss, as if she’s finally relaxing for the first time in her life.

Layla will need a kind resident dog in her new home to lean on as she continues to grow in confidence, and being with other dogs is all she's known, but she’s already proving to be a little star. She’s affectionate, endearing, and truly a hidden gem - just waiting to sparkle in the right home.

If you’re ready to help her live the life she’s always deserved, Layla is waiting.

Layla has some hormonal alopecia, but this should start to grow back with time.
