Pops
Beautiful Pops, affectionately known as Popsy in foster, came to us from a breeder and has been on a remarkable journey toward the happy life she has always deserved. When she first arrived, Pops was timid, overwhelmed, and frightened by her new surroundings. She didn’t yet understand that she was safe, and would try to run from people. But behind those worried eyes was a gentle soul, just waiting for the right home and the right family to help her blossom.
Over the past few months in foster, Pops has shown just how resilient and loving she truly is. She has settled quickly, learned to use puppy pads, and now only has the occasional early-morning accident. She is a food lover at heart and will never say no to a tasty treat, whether it’s chicken or sardines!
Pops loves her routine and looks forward to walk times, enjoying the security of her harness as she explores. She is still a little shy with new people or dogs at first, but her confidence is growing every day. She lives happily with both male and female dogs in her foster home, showing that she can be a wonderful companion in a multi-dog household.
This special little girl will need a calm, patient home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. Pops has never lived in a home before, so she will need understanding as she continues to master house training and lead walking. In return, she will give you her loyalty, affection, and a heart full of love.
Pops is a gentle, affectionate soul who has already come so far, and with the right family, she will continue to blossom into the joyful, devoted companion she was always meant to be.
