I am gaining confidence on a harness, but need to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I am a bit overweight and will need a good diet to get me back to a healthy weight!

27-05-25 Jewel is a beautiful girl who has come to us from a breeder to begin her journey toward the happy life she’s always deserved. At the moment, she is a very nervous lady who isn’t quite sure what to make of us just yet. Human kindness is all new to her, and she needs time and understanding as she starts to learn that she is safe and loved.

Jewel has never walked on a lead before, but her gentle kennel mummy recently introduced her to a harness and despite her initial hesitance, Jewel began to walk. Once she found herself in the big play yard with other dogs, something truly wonderful happened: her inner Labrador shone through. Her tail started wagging, her worries melted away, and she was soon running and playing with a huge smile on her face.

Because of this, we feel Jewel would thrive in a home with a kind, confident resident dog to help guide her and offer comfort. She will also need a secure and spacious garden where she can let off steam and enjoy the freedom and playtime that brings her so much joy. Outdoor play, especially in the company of her canine friends, is when she truly comes to life.

Jewel will need patient and understanding adopters who are experienced with or open to learning about nervous dogs. She is not yet house trained and will need time and support to learn about life in a home, including gaining confidence on the lead. With love, patience, and a gentle approach, this sweet girl will blossom into a wonderful and loyal companion.

Jewel has come to us a bit overweight and will benefit from a healthy diet to get her back into good shape. Jewel has so much potential all she needs now is a kind and loving home to help her shine.
