Rana
Rana came to us from a breeder and arrived timid, overwhelmed, and unsure of the world around her. In those early days, she was a shy, skittish little girl who trembled when handled, clearly unfamiliar with kindness or love. But thanks to the gentle care and patience of her foster mummy, Rana has made wonderful progress and is beginning to leave that fearful past behind.
Now happily settled in her foster home, Rana is growing in confidence each day. She gets along brilliantly with the resident dogs, who have helped guide her and show her the comforts of home life. After a few early mishaps, Rana has become reliably clean in the house, as long as the door is open, she knows just where to go!
Rana now enjoys her walks and, while still a little hand-shy, she’s making impressive strides, she’ll even take treats from strangers, something that would have seemed impossible not long ago.
This sweet girl is ready to take the next step and find her forever home. She’s looking for a calm household to settle into, and can be homed with older dog-savvy children. She will need a confident resident dog to help her continue building trust and feeling secure. Her new family will need to be gentle, patient, and willing to support her ongoing socialisation at her own pace.
Rana may always be a sensitive soul, but in the right environment, she has the potential to blossom into a happy, loyal, and loving companion. With time, kindness, and a lot of love, Rana is ready to thrive.
Rana has had one tooth extracted during her spay and is otherwise doing well.
