Beautiful Jasmine came to us from a breeder, shy and unsure, with little experience of human kindness. At first, she found everything overwhelming, handling, new surroundings, even gentle affection were all a bit too much. But from the very start, we saw the potential in her eyes: a sweet, sensitive girl just waiting for the world to show her love.

Now in foster care, Jasmine has started to bloom. With time, patience, and gentle encouragement, her affectionate and cheeky personality is beginning to shine through. She’s still cautious at first, but once she’s comfortable, she will happily shower you with cuddles and climb into your lap for fuss.

Jasmine is still a young dog with her whole future ahead of her. She's a typical Beagle in many ways, lively, inquisitive, and always happiest with her nose to the ground. She adores exploring the garden and going for walks with her doggy companions. New sights, smells, and sounds are becoming part of her daily life, and she’s learning to embrace them more and more with confidence.

She’s looking for a calm but active home where she can continue her journey at her own pace. A secure, reasonably sized garden would be ideal, and she will need at least one kind, confident resident dog to help guide her and be her playmate. Jasmine thrives with other dogs, they give her courage and companionship, and their presence has been essential in helping her learn how to be a dog herself. Jasmine has met cats and doesn't mind them so we would consider homing her with a dog-savvy cat that doesn't mind sharing their space.

Although she still startles at sudden movements and loud noises, Jasmine is learning that the world isn’t so scary after all. She’s picking up house training and has made great strides with lead walking using a harness. With continued positive experiences, she’s well on her way to becoming a happy, well-adjusted dog.

She’s been nothing but gentle with everyone she’s met and could live with older, dog-savvy children (11+) who can give her space and help build her confidence without pressure.

Jasmine is a very special girl with so much love to give. She’s not the finished product yet, but the journey of watching her blossom into the dog she was always meant to be is one of the most rewarding experiences you could hope for.
