June
June is a gentle, sensitive girl who has come to us from a breeder in search of her forever home. When she first arrived, she was understandably overwhelmed by her new surroundings and unsure of people, often running away when approached. She needed time, space, and gentle reassurance to begin learning that humans could be kind.
Over the past weeks, June has started to make wonderful progress. She is such an angel and is gradually showing more of her sweet, gentle personality each day. She now enjoys being stroked under her neck and chest, though she is still a little cautious around her head. Her adopters will need to understand her boundaries and allow her the time and patience she needs to build trust fully.
She will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with ex-breeding dogs. June blossoms when she has the company of her kennel friends. She loves playing with them, and their reassurance helps her feel secure, so she will continue to benefit from a home with at least one kind and confident dog to guide her.
This clever little lady is also learning new skills every day. She now has her own harness and is beginning to learn how to walk on a lead, taking small, positive steps forward. She’s also calm and cooperative with her daily eye medication, which is helping improve her dry eye condition. She has received treatment for an ear infection and requires regular cleaning of her lip folds, all of which she handles with remarkable composure.
June has never lived in a home before, so everything from house training to daily routines, is new to her. With a calm, patient, and understanding family, she will continue to grow in confidence and feel safe to show her affectionate, loving side.
This sweet, sensitive girl is looking for a peaceful forever home where she can be guided gently by experienced, kind humans and reassured by a confident canine companion. With patience, love, and kindness, June will blossom into the loyal, happy, and loving companion she is destined to be.
June has received treatment for dry eyes and will need to continue lubricant for life.
