  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet home that's filled with love and kindness.

  • Other pet requirements

I could be an only dog or live with others but no cats!

  • House and garden requirements

I would love a garden to run and play in!

  • Out and about requirements

I may be worried by walks at first but I would like an active home.

  • Training needs

I am house clean, and would love a home that will keep my Collie brain stimulated.

  • Medical issues

My adopter will need to agree to have me neutered at the appropriate age.

Rex is a gorgeous, young Collie who arrived with us through no fault of his own, after living in tough conditions that have clearly left their mark. He can be unsure of sudden movements and sometimes reacts by dropping to the floor, a sad sign of the fear he's known. But since coming to us, Rex has begun to show that, with time and patience, he’s ready to leave the past behind.

He’s lived in a home before and is currently in a foster home and is thriving. So, some aspects of home life may be familiar, though he might need a little help finding his feet again. Rex is sociable with other dogs and could happily join a calm, friendly companion, or be the only dog in a home where he’ll get plenty of attention.

We think Rex would do well in a quieter household, possibly with kind teenagers who understand he needs time to build confidence. What he’d really love is a home where he can enjoy regular walks, explore the world at his own pace, and grow into the happy, secure dog he was always meant to be.

His adopters will need to ensure he’s neutered at the appropriate time as part of his adoption agreement.
