Rose
Rose is a special girl who needs a special home. Rose originally came to us from a breeder and was adopted for a short period of time as she was very uncomfortable being handled in her new home and out of fear made the wrong decisions. It is evident that Rose has been through a lot, and of what we are unsure, but we do know she is blossoming and learning in her current foster home. Despite her fear, she does take treats from people and when she knows you and if you go slowly, she allows a gentle stroke on the head. Rose is happy in the company of other dogs and LOVES to play with toys, she just needs a lot of time, patience and experienced handling over time to help her learn to trust people's intentions and help her become comfortable. Rose is very happy to watch the world go by from the sidelines. But, loves to be in the company of her humans and of the other dogs in the home and will need a kind resident dog to look to for support. As she is continuously learning about trust in her foster home, she now does zoomies when you walk through the front door to show her excitement, she happily takes herself outside for a bathroom break and loves to curl up for a snuggle with her furry friends. Rose likes going for a walk, but would prefer a calm and quiet rural area with no loud noises to continue learning how to walk on a lead. Rose has come out of her shell so much since learning about patience and kindness and will need an experienced and loving home to continue learning about trust and companionship.
