She originally came to Many Tears from a home where she wasn’t getting along with her litter sister, which can sometimes happen. However, please don’t let that put you off - Shannel is an absolute gem of a dog and the perfect companion for an active, dog-loving home!

This adventurous girl is full of energy and would love nothing more than to accompany you on outings and exciting adventures. She has a confident and curious nature, taking in new environments with ease. Whether it's long walks, exploring the great outdoors, or simply being by your side, Shannel is always ready for the next big adventure.

Shannel could be homed as an only dog in the right circumstances or with a friendly male resident dog. She has been described as good with children, making her a great addition to an active family. However, like a true Patterdale Terrier, she has a strong prey drive and loves to chase, so she cannot be homed with cats.

She’s already a very clever girl, she’s house trained and walks beautifully on a lead, making her an easy and enjoyable companion for outdoor activities. At the end of an adventurous day, she loves nothing more than snuggling up with her favourite humans.

Shannel has adjusted so well since arriving at the rescue, proving to be a happy and affectionate girl who adores people and loves her toys.
