Kass
20-10-25 Kass originally came to us from a breeder and was adopted earlier in the year but has been returned through no fault of her own. The resident dog had grown jealous and reactive and it was felt that it was in Kass’s best interests to come back. Fortunately, she has been able to go straight back into foster, with her original foster family. She has settled well and is show casing what a wonderful house guest she is.
Kass is not only beautiful on the outside, she is super kind, sweet and gentle on the inside. She adores her tickles and cuddles from her humans and will gently paw them for more. She is very partial to her food and thoroughly enjoys going out for walks, walking beautifully on a lead. She is comfortable living alongside both male and female dogs being very respectful of both and travels well in the car. She is house trained as long as long as she is regularly asked to go out, although the occasional anxious accident does occur.
Whilst Kass has progressed really well, she is still worried about the new world she finds herself in and remains nervous of a human’s intentions. Her adopters will therefore need to be patient and understanding and be committed to helping Kass build her confidence. For this reason, she will benefit from a home where she can freely sit up on the sofa, and sleep at the end of her humans bed (a favourite spot) as this will help improve her self esteem, help her feel more secure and cement the family bond.
She would also be best suited to a calm and quiet home where her humans have plenty of time to spend with her and a garden she can freely roam. Whilst she loves to be with her humans, she would still benefit from a resident dog that is both confident and laid back to provide her with support, reassurance and comfort.
