  • Out and about requirements

I have lots of energy and need an active home that loves adventures.

  • Training needs

I am in a foster home now so am learning all about home life and house training.

  • Medical issues

I have a fatty lump on my right flank.

Emrys is such a wonderful boy. He’s currently living in a foster home where has been for a year now and has absolutely flourished with them. He originally came to us from a farm so had very little in the way of training and socialising. This meant he could find new people worrying and during a short adoption of just a few months, he struggled to get used to a male visitor and would react towards him and redirected onto another person while stressed. He was returned to his foster home following this and hasn’t put a paw out of place since.

In foster, Emrys does very well, he absolutely adores his three collie best friends and we think he would thrive in a home with a resident dog to keep him company. We would consider an experienced home adopting him as an only dog however he loves having doggy friends so would need regular playdates. Unfortunately Emrys cannot live with cats. He is looking for a collie and rescue experienced home to help him thrive. He absolutely loves his walks and as he is such a clever lad, he will need brain games to wear out his mind too! If an active home is looking for a dog to join in on a sport like agility, we are sure he would do well!

Once Emrys trusts you, he is a wonderful companion and after an exciting walk where he gets to play with his friends, he does really enjoy a cuddle and a snooze on the couch. He is looking for a quiet, adult only home who understands collie behaviour, especially collies bred to work. When introduced to people with plenty of space to move away if he gets worried, he makes friends quickly. His amazing foster home have done so well in bringing out his silly, confident side and absolutely love his quirks. He is such a brilliant boy and has been waiting very patiently for his forever family.

Emrys has a fatty lump on the right flank that does not pose as an issue and is being monitored.
