20-03-25 Duke has come to Many Tears through no fault of his own as his beloved owner has sadly fallen ill. He has been assessed with other dogs and has shown to be a bit barky while on a lead and when he is first introduced, but don't worry, he just likes to make a grand entrance! Once he settles in, he seems happy and content. Duke can be homed as an only dog with adopters that can give him plenty of attention, or with kind resident dogs that don't mind giving him space when he is wanting to be a stereotypical loud and grumpy old man!

Duke is house-trained and walks beautifully on a lead, though he may need a little patience as he settles in as a change in environment can cause a few understandable accidents. After recent assessment by the vets, he has had 15 teeth extracted and was already missing his front teeth, so he'll need a soft diet and lots of love as he adjusts. But don't worry - he is still as happy and affectionate as ever!

What he really excels at, though, is showering people with love! He adores human attention and will happily remind you to keep the fuss going by placing his paws on you - just in case you forget! A garden would be the cherry on top for Duke, as he loves soaking up the sunshine and rolling in the grass. He’s already had a taste of home life, so we’re hoping he won’t be waiting too long for his next adventure. Could you be the one to give this wonderful boy the loving home he deserves?
