  • Human family requirements

I'm looking for a family who will love and cherish me.

  • Other pet requirements

I would be happy to share my new home with another dog or could be an only dog.

  • House and garden requirements

I'd love a garden to run and play in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't learned to go for walks just yet, but I think I will enjoy them.

  • Training needs

I will need to attend puppy socialisation classes.

  • Medical issues

I do have some medical problems so please read my write up carefully.

23-03-25 Tabu has come to us from a breeder as an unsold puppy. He can sometimes wobble his head back and forth and has been assessed by our vet who feel that this could possibly be due to neurological issues, but the cause is unknown. He has also arrived with a cherry eye, which is cosmetic and isn't causing him issues so our vets have advised leaving this for now, especially as he is so young, but it could possibly need repairing in the future. He does also have a small lump on his neck which isn't causing any issues currently. Tabu's adopters would need to be aware of everything previously mentioned and along with their vet would need to monitor him. It's possible he may require treatment or further investigation in the future, which wouldn't be coverable by insurance and so his adopters would need to be in the position to afford this.

Although he is a little different to his puppy friends, Tabu isn't worried about this and is just as happy and friendly as any other puppy. He's a little shy at first meeting, but he soon comes out of his shell and is a happy and lively little lad. He would love to share his new home with another dog who is older than him but young enough to run and play but in the right circumstances we would consider homing Tabu as an only dog as long as he was regularly socialised with others and his adopters had plenty of time to spend with him. We would also consider homing him with older dog-savvy children who are very kind and gentle. He needs a special home with adopters who have all the time in the world to shower him with love and who will be able to cover any medical expenses he may need in the future. In return they will have a lovely little friend to share their life with. Tabu has a travel document.

Like all puppies Tabu will need to learn about house training and lead walking. He will need to attend puppy socialisation classes and his adopters would need to agree to have him neutered at the appropriate age.
