Teddy
Teddy has come to us in search of his forever home. He was originally a breeding dog, but when he was no longer wanted, he was sadly dumped. Thankfully, some incredibly kind people took him in and cared for him for three months, helping him gain strength and start to build his confidence before coming into our care.
Since arriving, Teddy has made incredible progress and has truly come on in leaps and bounds. This sweet, gentle boy is really starting to blossom and now often comes up for fuss, actively seeking out people for affection and company. It’s wonderful to see him beginning to feel safe and secure, and his quiet, loving nature shines through more every day.
Teddy is a quick learner and a joy to work with. He already walks beautifully on a lead and gets along wonderfully with his kennel friends, showing us just how sociable and kind he is. He will need a home where there is at least one kind and confident resident dog to offer him reassurance and continue to help him grow in confidence. As Teddy has never lived in a home before, his adopters will need to be patient and understanding as he learns about housetraining and all the new experiences of home life.
Teddy is still a little underweight, but with good nutrition this will soon improve. He has also had one tooth removed at the time of his neuter, but is otherwise doing really well.
Teddy is such a special boy who has already stolen so many hearts here. He brings smiles to everyone who meets him, and he so deserves to find his happily ever after with a family who will cherish him.
