Apple Bee
29-03-25 Apple Bee came to us from a breeder as an unsold pup, and it quickly became apparent that she was struggling with incontinence. She was referred to a specialist for an Ectopic Ureter and has ultimately underwent a Right Ureterectomy and Nephrectomy in hopes to resolve the incontinence. Apple Bee is currently spending her time in recovery and is being taken out on short walks for potty purposes only, as prescribed by the specialist. She seems to be taking all of this in stride, and we are hopeful that the surgery was a success. However, this is not guaranteed to subside the incontinence and her new adopters will need to be aware that any future problems will not be coverable by insurance.
That being said, please don’t let this discourage you from adopting the world’s friendliest fluff ball! Apple Bee is as sweet as they come, and has become a volunteer favorite at the rescue. She happily greets everyone she meets and so desperately wants to be your friend! We’ve even joked about making her our new head of reception (just don’t tell Irene!). She originally came to us a little on the reserved side and has absolutely blossomed in her short time here and will only continue to thrive in a home.
She has the confidence to be an only dog but absolutely loves playing with her canine friends, so we believe she’d enjoy having a furry companion in her new home. She can also be placed with children who understand and respect a puppy’s playful, energetic nature. Apple Bee is an active girl who would love a garden where she can run, soak up the sun, and enjoy the outdoors.
As Apple Bee is just a young pup, her adopters will need to agree to take her to puppy socialization and training classes to help her become a successful adult, as well as agreeing to spay her once she reaches the appropriate age.
If you are looking for a joyful, affectionate and happy-go-lucky fluffy lady, Apple Bee may be the perfect match for you!
