21-03-25 Tess has been a very much loved pet her whole life but sadly due to a change in her families circumstances she is now looking for a new family to love her.

Tess has moved straight into foster and joined a multi-dog household with ease and enthusiasm. She is a wonderful girl, slightly submissive and well-liked by other dogs, and happy and friendly with people. Tess is a typical delightful bouncy young labrador who would love a family that will take her for long walks in the countryside and at least one similar size doggie to have some fun with.

Tess has attended training classes since she was a young puppy, she needs an active home and some fun in her life. She needs a family that will bring out the best in her.

Tess was referred to a specialist in 2024, as she did have a few episodes of ataxia. She was assessed by a neurologist who performed a CSF and MRI, both of which returned as normal. She was diagnosed with suspected paroxysmal dyskinesia, which is benign and will likely resolve over time. Tess' new adopters would need to be aware of this condition and do some research into it. As this is a pre-existing condition, it would not be coverable by insurance.
