04-04-25 Theodore, also known as Theo is everything a mischievous puppy should be - cheeky, playful, and always up to something! He’s a bundle of energy who loves nothing more than racing around the garden, but when it’s time to settle down, he turns into the ultimate snuggle bug. He absolutely hates getting out of bed in the morning and will grumble if the cuddles stop too soon!

This little lad recently had to have his right eye removed as it was clouded with cataracts and was irreversible and overly swollen and believed to be causing him pain, but it hasn’t slowed him down one bit and in fact, it’s like he’s been given a whole new lease on life! He’s now happier, bouncier, and more full of fun than ever. Theo is currently in foster with a staff member, soaking up all the comforts of home life while still coming into the rescue during the day to play and socialize with dogs and volunteers. He adores everyone he meets and is always ready to make new friends.

Theo would love a home with another playful dog to show him the ropes, help him learn some manners, and join in his games. He’s working on his house training and he still has the odd accident but will let you know if he needs to go out at night. He’s been introduced to harness training, which will need to continue in his forever home.

Despite having just one eye, Theo is full of life and feeling better than ever! He will need to finish healing before he can go to his forever home, so he won’t be ready for adoption until his stitches are ready to come out. He’s a very loyal little boy and will need someone around most of the time to keep him company (and to provide plenty of belly rubs!). He’s also a bit of a stubborn little poodle with a big voice - so be prepared for some chatter!

Theo will need to be neutered when he’s old enough and will benefit from puppy training and socialization classes to help him grow into a well-mannered young lad. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, cuddly, and slightly mischievous little best friend, Theodore might just be the one for you!
