Lola is an absolute heart-melter of a dog who has come to us from a loving home through no fault of her own. Her previous owner’s work schedule changed drastically, leaving them working six days a week and without the time Lola needs and deserves. This was a heartbreaking decision made purely out of love. Lola was adored, but of course her wellbeing comes first.

Now in unfamiliar surroundings, sweet Lola is trying to make sense of it all. She’s been a cherished family dog since she was a puppy, so this sudden change has left her feeling lost and unsure. With her big, soulful honey-brown eyes, she looks right into your heart – it genuinely feels like she’s trying to speak. It’s impossible not to fall for her. Lola has lived in a home before and we are told that she is house trained, and she walks beautifully on a lead! She is also a smarty pants and already knows sit, stay and lay down! Which means the hard part of training is over and she is ready to go!

Lola has a beautiful temperament and the most gentle demeanor. She's friendly and calm, and we’ve been told she’s great with children, other dogs, and even cats. That said, she’d also do brilliantly as the only pet in a home, provided her humans have plenty of time to give her love, cuddles, and take her on adventures!

True to her Labrador roots, Lola has a playful streak and might occasionally confuse household items for toys if they’re left lying around – she just can’t help herself! She has also been known to bark a little when left alone, so a home where someone is around most of the time would be ideal as she simply wants to be close to her people.

She does have a touch of sensitive skin, which her new family will need to keep an eye on, but it’s easily managed with the right care and attention.

One very special thing about Lola is the deep bond she had with her previous owner, who is absolutely heartbroken to part with her. He has asked that her new family keep in touch and send occasional updates – he truly loves her and wants to know she’s happy and thriving in her new home. He will be leaving his number with the office for her next family to reach out.

We genuinely cannot stress enough how gorgeous this girl is – inside and out. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with the eyes of an old soul and a heart of pure gold, Lola could be the one for you.

Lola has been assessed by our vets who have noticed cauliflower symptoms in the right ear as well as thickened ear canals in the left ear. This will be further monitored and treated.
