21-03-25 Scurry has come to us to find her forever home, after being found as a stray in Ireland. She is a little overwhelmed to find herself here at the moment, which is understandable, but she is a fairly confident girl who is happy to be gently handled. She has a lovely nature and we think once she's in her forever home she won't take long at all to settle in and come out of her shell. She already seems to enjoy a gentle fuss. As Scurry was a stray, we don't know any of her history, but it's possible that she has lived in a home at some point so may be familiar with home life. We are unsure if she knows anything about house training so may need to learn this in her new home. Scurry can already walk well on a lead and we think she is going to enjoy going on lots of walks and adventures with her new family. She will be looking for a home with adopters who have plenty of time to spend with her and where there is another kind resident dog to be her friend and companion. Scurry has visited our vet and had a hernia repair, where her uterus had herniated. This has now been repaired and she is recovering well. Scurry is such a little sweetheart and we cannot wait to wave her off to her forever home.
