Chloe
12-06-25 Chloe is a very timid and frightened girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is very overwhelmed to find herself here at the moment and is currently spending much of her time trying to hide or quietly avoid human interaction.
She is quite flighty and nervous, and if pushed too quickly or taken out of her comfort zone, Chloe may panic and choose to make the wrong decision. Because of this, she will need a calm and quiet, experienced, adult only home where she will be given all the time she needs to settle in at her own pace. Gentle reassurance and patience will be key.
Despite her fear, Chloe is trying her very best to be brave. If you sit quietly with her, she may eventually allow a little chin rub. Once in your arms, she allows you to stroke her, but getting to that point must always be done slowly and kindly, never rushed.
Chloe will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in the home to be her friend and take her under their wing. She gains immense comfort from the presence of other dogs and will watch and follow them. A dog who is happy to share their space, beds, and offer her guidance would be ideal.
Chloe has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She will also need to learn to walk on a lead and harness, first in a secure garden until she has gained enough confidence to venture outside.
This little soul is so desperately in need of a safe, understanding home where she can finally start to heal and discover what it feels like to be loved, so if you think you can offer her a wonderful forever home, please don't leave her waiting.
