Sweet Olive has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a calm, loving forever home where she can truly blossom. She’s a gentle and sensitive soul who will need at least one kind, confident resident dog to help guide her as she learns about the joys of home life. A canine companion will be a great source of comfort and encouragement for her.

When Olive first arrived, she was a very shy and timid girl. But with time, love, and patience, her personality has slowly but surely begun to shine. She’s now a happy, curious girl who enjoys following her humans around—especially if they have treats in hand!

Outdoors is where Olive really comes alive. She loves being with her doggy friends and will often burst into delightful zoomies when she’s feeling excited and free. Because of this, she would thrive in a home with a secure, good-sized garden where she can run, play, and show off her goofy, lovable side. She also enjoys playing with toys and chasing balls, her playful nature is truly coming into its own.

Although Olive is still learning to trust, she now welcomes a gentle fuss and clearly craves affection and reassurance. She hasn’t lived in a home before, so she will need ongoing support with housetraining and getting used to wearing a lead and going for walks. She could live with kind, dog-savvy older teenagers who understand that she may need time and space to build her confidence.

Olive has had a cyst drained at the time of her spay, located just under her tail, and has recovered well.

With the right family by her side, Olive will continue to flourish and make a loyal, loving companion.
