Pinky
Pinky came to us from a breeder and, like many dogs from similar backgrounds, she arrived a little unsure of the world around her. But with a gentle hand and some patience, she has quickly started to show her sweet, affectionate nature, and now that she's in foster care, she's really beginning to shine.
In her foster home, Pinky has settled in beautifully. She gets along wonderfully with the resident dogs and will need at least one kind and confident canine friend in her forever home to help guide her and continue building her confidence. She truly lights up in the company of other dogs and finds great comfort in their presence.
Pinky is clean in the house, sleeps peacefully through the night on her bed, and is starting to enjoy her daily walks, tail wagging and happy to explore the world around her. She loves the company of adults and would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time, as she thrives on gentle attention and reassurance. Her tail wags enthusiastically every time her fosterer walks into the room!
As Pinky has never lived in a home before arriving in foster, her new family will need to continue supporting her as she adjusts to household life. She’s made a brilliant start but will still benefit from patient guidance as she continues to learn.
Pinky also has some mild hormonal alopecia, which we expect to improve now that she has been spayed. She also had a few teeth removed during her spay, but this hasn’t slowed her down one bit.
This lovely little girl has so much love to give and just needs the right home to help her continue blossoming. If you have the time, understanding, and a friendly resident dog to help show her the way, Pinky could be the perfect addition to your family.
