A Cuddly Little Sweetheart Ready to Shine

Penny is a 6-year-old Dachshund who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. This little lady may have started off feeling unsure and overwhelmed, but she’s already blossoming in her foster home and showing what a truly lovely companion she’s going to be.

Penny had never lived in a home before arriving at Many Tears, so everything has been brand new for her. With the gentle guidance of her foster carers and the support of other friendly dogs, she’s making wonderful progress. She gets along beautifully with her canine companions and has made lots of new friends. She’ll need to be rehomed with at least one kind, confident resident dog to help continue building her confidence and show her the ropes.

Despite her earlier nerves, Penny is now enjoying cuddles and absolutely adores snuggling up on your lap. She’s full of character and is beginning to show her sweet, affectionate nature more each day. She’s also been out on walks and is doing brilliantly on the lead, taking it all in her stride.

Penny’s new adopters will need to help her continue learning about home life, including house training and gaining confidence with everyday routines. She would thrive in a calm and loving home, and we would consider rehoming her with older, dog-savvy teenagers who can be patient and gentle with her.

Penny has had 12 teeth removed during her spay, but this doesn’t slow her down in the slightest. She’s a joyful little dog with so much love to give, and she’s ready to begin the next chapter of her life with a family who will cherish her.

If you can offer Penny the safe, understanding home she deserves, she’ll reward you with a lifetime of love and cuddles.
