Savvy has made some truly heartwarming progress over the past few months. With careful, consistent handling and the support of her best friend Gus, she has reached several important milestones that would have been unimaginable not long ago. Most notably, she recently allowed herself to be placed on the grooming table without being held, a huge step for a dog who used to panic and try to escape during any kind of grooming. Having another dog by her side has proven invaluable, offering her the comfort and reassurance she needs in unfamiliar or stressful situations.

Savvy has now also began to walk on a lead and harness, this is very new for her still and she is still very worried about this, but it is incredible progress for our special girl. Savvy is still on a journey and will require continued, patient support, but these developments show she is slowly learning to feel safe.

She is looking for a calm, adult-only home with experienced adopters who can offer her the stability, understanding, and time she needs. A quiet environment, a secure garden, and the presence of another friendly, confident dog are essential to help her continue building confidence. Savvy’s ideal home will be one where progress is measured in small but meaningful steps, and where her unique pace is respected every step of the way.

She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in at her own pace and learns all about home life and new skills like house training.
