Navy
NAVY IS LOOKING FOR A HOME WITH HER FRIEND NARA
24-06-25 Navy is a lovely, sweet Dachshund girl who originally came to us from her breeder and was adopted by a family. Sadly, through absolutely no fault of her own, Navy has come back into our care after her adopter experienced health issues and could no longer care for her.
Navy is looking for a forever home with her best friend, Nara. These two beautiful girls have spent the last year living happily together and really do rely on one another for comfort and confidence. They must be adopted as a pair. Navy is the more confident of the two. She will happily approach for gentle fuss, enjoys being picked up, and is generally a friendly little lady. Navy does walk on a lead quite nicely and would need a gentle introduction to walks in her new home and may prefer sniffs around the garden while she settles in to help build her confidence. Although Navy has lived in a home, she is not fully toilet-trained yet, so continued support with this will be needed.
Navy will need an experienced owner who understands the breed, is serious about helping her with her confidence, and is also committed to helping her reach and maintain a healthy weight for her long-term well-being.
Navy has a Grade 4 heart murmur, she isn't on any medication at the moment but it is something her adopters and their vet will need to monitor going forwards.
Navy is a beautiful, sweet girl who deserves a second chance at happiness.
