Vamp
Vamp is a gorgeous little pup who arrived with his litter from a breeder in search of his forever home. At first, he was a nervous boy, unsure of his new surroundings, but he has since moved to a foster home where his playful and happy side has started to shine through. He loves exploring the garden, climbing onto chairs for a better view, and even curling up in plant pots!
Although he’s gaining confidence, Vamp will still need a calm, patient home with plenty of love, guidance, and gentle encouragement to help him grow into a confident, happy dog. He had never lived in a home before moving to his foster home, but he is already doing well and is toileting outside during the day and on a puppy pad overnight. He is happy to join his fosterers on the sofa for a stroke and sleeps soundly in a dog bed overnight too.
Vamp will need another kind and confident resident dog in his new home to be his friend and playmate. He is in foster with cats and has shown little interest so far, but we do think he may chase them if they run, so perhaps a cat free home would be best unless the cat was laid back and dog savvy. He is in foster with children and so we would consider homing him with older, dog savvy children.
Vamp has now learned all about walking on a lead and loves to run around the secure field and will come back when called. He will be looking for an active home with adopters that can offer both physical and mental stimulation,
He will need to attend puppy socialisation classes to help him grow into a well rounded adult and his adopters will need to agree to have him neutered at the appropriate age as per the adoption agreement.
