Unicorn has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived, she was a worried and overwhelmed little soul who was too scared to approach us. She has since started to come out of her shell and will now approach you for a gentle fuss once she gets to know you and we think she is going to really blossom in her forever home.

She will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home where she can feel safe and settle in at her own pace. It is essential that Unicorn has at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to guide her and help her learn all about the world, but she would need this dog to be larger than her. With gentle encouragement from her canine companion and her humans, she will start to build trust and discover that life can be full of kindness.

Unicorn has never lived in a home before, so everything is completely new to her. She will need a patient and understanding adopter who will give her all the time she needs as she adjusts to her new life. Unicorn will need to learn all about home life and new skills like house training.

She has started to learn all about walking on a lead and harness and is doing so well and seems to enjoy it, but does need to build her confidence up still. She has even been to our big play yard with one of her Beagle friends and had a wonderful time!

She does have some old scars on her face and nose which serve as sad reminders of her past. We don’t know how she got them, but they don’t bother her physically and don’t make her any less beautiful or deserving of love.

With time, patience and reassurance, we are certain that Unicorn’s true personality will shine through. She has so much potential and deserves a peaceful and happy future. If you have the time, experience, and a loving home to offer this precious girl, please consider giving Unicorn the second chance she so deserves.
