Usher is a beautiful and sweet-natured girl who came to us from a breeder to begin her new life. She may have had a difficult past, but she’s shown nothing but kindness and resilience since arriving. Gentle, calm, and easy to handle, Usher is the kind of dog who simply wants a quiet place to rest her head and a loving human to show her how wonderful life can truly be.

Now in foster, Usher has settled in remarkably well and is already showing how adaptable and eager she is to please. She’s had no accidents in the house and sleeps soundly through the night, she’s not even an early riser! Although she was a little vocal when she first arrived, this was quickly managed with gentle guidance, praise, and treats. She’s learning fast and takes everything in her stride.

Usher walks beautifully on a lead and thoroughly enjoys her outings to the park, where she soaks up attention from people and greets other dogs, big and small, with quiet confidence. She’s been described as an absolute pleasure to have around. She’s not destructive, though she does have a soft spot for slippers and shoes, which only adds to her charm.

She’s now fully healed from the wound on her neck, which our vets believe was caused by a burst cyst. The area is clean and healthy, with just some hair still growing back. She also has a little underbite, but it doesn’t cause her any issues at all.

Usher will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her, as she’s never lived in a home before. She’s already come so far, but continued support, patience, and love will help her blossom fully. She’s looking for a quiet, calm, adult-only home with adopters who are around most of the time and can offer her the gentle structure she needs to thrive.

If you can offer Usher the loving home she so deeply deserves, we promise she’ll make you smile every single day. Don’t hesitate, this special girl is ready for her happy ever after.
