  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I will be spayed before finding my forever home.

Umber is a gentle, sensitive little girl who has come to us from a breeder in search of her forever home. When she first arrived, she was understandably nervous and overwhelmed by all the changes in her life. She isn’t yet comfortable being picked up and finds handling quite worrying, but with patience, understanding, and calm reassurance, she is beginning to show glimpses of the sweet and loyal companion she can become.

Over the past weeks, Umber has made steady progress in foster care. She remains cautious around people and will need someone experienced in helping scared dogs to guide her through her journey with kindness and positivity. Despite her worries, she thrives in the company of other dogs, rom tiny Poms to larger Collies, and shares beds, toys, treats, and food beautifully. A friendly, confident canine companion in her forever home will be essential to give her comfort, guidance, and the confidence to explore life beyond her fears.

Umber has yet to start proper harness training, but once she is ready, she will learn quickly in a calm, patient, and positive environment. She will need adopters who can teach her about home life, including house training and everyday routines, at her own pace. A quiet, adult-only home will give her the space to grow and flourish without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

This special little girl has so much love to give to the right family. With time, patience, and gentle encouragement, Umber will continue to blossom into the affectionate, loyal companion she was always meant to be. She deserves a forever home where human kindness is shown consistently and where she can feel safe, secure, and truly cherished.
