This beautiful girl is Udon, who came to us from a breeder to find her loving forever home. When she first arrived, she hadn’t had much socialisation and was very unsure about being handled. If approached, she would gently back herself into a corner, but could be picked up without fuss. With time, patience and kindness, Udon has started to make some really lovely progress. She will now happily take treats from your hand, enjoys a gentle fuss, and has even begun her harness training. Being on the lead can still feel a little overwhelming for her, so she will need a calm, confident resident dog in her new home to guide her and help her build her confidence.

Udon is a very sweet and playful girl. When she thinks no one is watching, she zooms happily around the yard with her friends, showing us her cheeky and fun side. She really enjoys the company of other dogs, and it’s clear she gains comfort from them, so her new home must have a kind resident dog who can take her under their wing.

As Udon has never lived in a home before, everything will be completely new to her. Her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she learns about home life, including house training and getting used to all the sights and sounds of a family environment. With time and support, we know she will continue to grow in confidence and become a much-loved companion.
