Taz
08-07-25 Taz is a friendly, affectionate pup who’s already stealing hearts wherever he goes and is looking for an extremely special home. Taz came to us from a breeder as it was felt that he possibly had some neurological issues, as he would often spin in circles. Taz has been assessed here by our vets who agree that he is showing signs of neurological issues, but no cause has been pinpointed. He is doing very well and our vets don't feel that he needs any treatment currently, but should his condition worsen in the future, this may need further investigation and would not be covered by insurance.
Taz is a happy and bouncy little puppy who is loving life. He is a busy little bee who is clumsier than your average puppy but generally gets around and copes well. When he is feeling particularly anxious or stressed, this can cause his neurological symptoms to be more pronounced and he may start spinning, seeming uncoordinated and unable to relax. Once he settles in, his symptoms do seem to even out once more.
Taz loves other dogs and really relies on them for comfort and will need a home where there is a calm, steady adult dog who will take him under their wing and be his guide. They will need to be patient and able to handle a cheeky little puppy zooming around after them.
Taz is a sweet, cuddly boy who thrives on human affection and loves to be close. He’s full of energy and will make a wonderful companion for an active family who can offer him plenty of exercise and adventures once he is older. Considering Taz is so playful, he can be homed with older dog-savvy teens who understand that he may need extra care.... and playtime!
As a young pup, Taz will need to attend puppy socialisation and training classes to help him grow into a well-mannered and confident adult. His adopters will also need to commit to having him castrated at the appropriate age as part of his adoption agreement.
Taz is a bright, loving little soul who’s eager to learn and ready to find a forever home where he’ll be cherished. With time, training, and lots of love, he’s going to make someone the most loyal and fun-loving companion.
