Quacky
18-07-25 Quacky is a little sweetheart who has come to us from a breeder. She is a kind and sensitive girl who is a little confused to find herself in her new surroundings and needs time to find the courage to approach us.
Quacky will need a calm, adult only, home where there is at least one other dog who is as kind and gentle as her. She would love it if her new friend was a cavalier and with their help she will start to settle into home life and she will watch them and then start to copy what they do which will help her with things like house training and lead walking. When she is ready lead walking will need to to start in the garden before venturing into the outside in quiet areas.
Our vets have noted that she has a Grade 2 patella luxation in her right hind leg. This may improve with gentle exercise, but should she need treatment in the future, it would not be covered by insurance. She also had 4 teeth extracted at the time of her spay.
With adopters who understand what Quacky needs is love and kindness, she will start to learn that the rest of her life will be wonderful and start to become much braver.
Quacky has a travel document.
