17-07-25 Tressy has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a special forever home where he can begin to understand that the world doesn’t have to be a scary place. He is a worried soul who clearly hasn't experienced much in life yet and he is overwhelmed and unsure to find himself here.

At the moment, Tressy is very worried and will try to run away when approached, but once gently held in your arms, he does begin to settle and will accept soft, reassuring strokes. With time, patience, and a lot of TLC, Tressy will start to learn that human hands can be kind.

Tressy will need a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with nervous dogs and are willing to let him settle in at his pace. It’s essential that he has at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home who can help guide him, show him the ropes, and take him under their wing.

He has never lived in a home before, so everything will be new to him and his adopters will need to be gentle and understanding as he learns about home life and house training. He will also need to learn how to walk on a lead and harness, first around the home and garden as he builds confidence.

Tressy may be a little lost right now, but with love and the right environment, we know he will begin to blossom. If you think you can offer Tressy the patience, support, and companionship he needs to find his paws, he will reward you with a bond like no other.
