Willow is the sweetest Cocker Spaniel who has come to us from a breeding environment in Ireland. When she first arrived, she was understandably quite shut down, keeping her distance and feeling safest tucked away at the back of her kennel. Life has not always been kind to Willow, but with patience, love, and gentle guidance, she is beginning to show glimpses of the confident, affectionate dog we know she can be.

Over the past few weeks, Willow has made wonderful progress. While she’s not quite ready to approach by herself, she is trying her best to be brave and happily accepts fuss and handling. She is inquisitive, enjoys company, and is showing signs of curiosity about her surroundings.

Willow will benefit from a calm, adult-only home with adopters who can offer patience, understanding, and support. She thrives in the company of a friendly, confident resident dog, who can offer reassurance, guidance, and companionship. With a canine friend by her side, Willow will also learn skills such as walking on a harness and exploring her new home with confidence.

She has never lived in a home before, so Willow will need gentle guidance with the basics of home life, including toilet training and learning the routines of a loving household. She can also be homed with dog-savvy children who understand that she needs time and space to settle.

Willow’s health needs include a soft food diet following the extraction of ten teeth during her spay, ongoing monitoring for early cataracts, and the removal of one remaining small lump once she has fully recovered from previous surgeries. She also had a few lumps removed - one mammary lump on the right side, two mammary lumps on the left side. We have kept the lumps and should any potential adopter want to send them off for testing, then we would be able to do this. She has also had a grape sized lump removed from her back.

This little angel has such a gentle, loving nature, and with the right environment, she is sure to blossom into a joyful, affectionate companion. Willow is ready for a home where she can feel safe, loved, and finally show the wonderful personality she’s been waiting to share.

Willow has a travel document.
