Waffle’s story is one of quiet courage. Coming to us from a breeder, he had never known what love, kindness, or the safety of a real home could feel like. At first, the world felt big and overwhelming, but unlike his best friend Wishes, Waffle has always carried a little spark of bravery. He is the more confident of the two, often taking those first steps forward, showing his friend the way, and gently lending him courage.

The bond between Waffle and Wishes is nothing short of remarkable. They are inseparable, two souls who found safety in each other when everything else was uncertain. Where Waffle leads, Wishes follows. They curl up side by side, explore together, and look to one another for reassurance. To separate them would be unthinkable, so they are searching for a forever home as a pair, where they can continue to thrive together.

Since those early, tentative days, Waffle has blossomed. What was once a shy, cautious boy is now a funny, exuberant little dog who greets familiar faces with wagging tail and eager eyes. Both he and Wishes love bounding into the play yard, full of energy, joy, and curiosity about the world around them. Waffle’s confidence continues to shine, and with each step forward, he shows just how ready he is to embrace his new life, always making sure his best friend is by his side.

Training is still a work in progress. Both boys have begun their harness training and are doing well, and beginners on the lead. Their new family will need to continue this gently, at their pace. They are big foodies, which makes training and building trust much easier, a little treat goes a long way with these two. A secure garden is essential, both for playtime zoomies and for giving them a safe place to grow in confidence before heading out on bigger adventures.

Waffle and Wishes would suit a calm, and understanding home, one where patience, kindness, and consistency are at the heart of daily life. As a pair, they are growing more confident by the day, and while they may not need another resident dog in the right home, they would thrive in the company of people who truly understand their journey.

Waffle is proof of how far love and patience can bring a once-forgotten dog. With Wishes at his side, he is ready to step into the next chapter, one filled with play, trust, and the promise of unconditional love.
