WISHES WOULD LIKE A HOME WITH HIS FRIEND WAFFLE

Wishes’ story is one that tugs at the heart. He arrived to us from a breeder, a timid little soul who had never known what it meant to be loved. Human kindness was a mystery to him, soft words and gentle hands were things he simply didn’t understand. When approached, he would shut down, not out of aggression, but out of quiet confusion and fear of the unknown.

But in that darkness, a light appeared, a bond with another little dog, Waffle. From the moment they met, the two became inseparable. Where one goes, the other follows. They sleep curled up together, explore side by side, and lean on each other for comfort in moments of uncertainty. Their connection is deep and unshakable, and because of this, they must find their forever home together. Separating them would break both of their hearts.

Since those early days, Wishes and Waffle have begun to blossom. What were once two fearful boys have now grown into a funny, exuberant pair full of energy and joy. They’re always happy to greet familiar faces, tails wagging as they head out into the play yard for a run, a sniff, and a game with one another. While they are beginners walking on a lead, something that will need to continue in their new home, they’ve already made progress with their harnesses and show growing confidence each day.

These two are big foodies, which makes training and confidence-building easier, and in the right home they will thrive. They would love a secure garden to zoom around in and to help burn off some of their endless enthusiasm. Once fully lead-trained, they’ll be ready to enjoy new adventures together out in the wider world.

Although they now carry themselves with more confidence as a pair, individually they can still find life a little overwhelming. That’s why it’s so important that they remain side by side, guiding and supporting each other. They would suit a calm, understanding, home, perhaps with a couple or even alongside other friendly resident dogs who enjoy playtime.

Wishes and Waffle are more than just dogs looking for a home; they are two hearts that found each other in their most uncertain days, and together they’re discovering joy, trust, and love. For the right family, adopting them means opening your home to laughter, companionship, and the chance to see two once-broken souls flourish into the happy, loving companions they were always meant to be.
