12-10-25 Buddy is a clever, gentle, and beautiful little boy who has already shown how brave and adaptable he can be. He originally came to us from a breeder and was adopted for a short amount of time and was unfortunately returned through no fault of his own, as the older resident dog in his previous home struggled to adjust to having a new canine companion. Despite this, his adopters described him as absolutely wonderful, brave, affectionate, and full of personality.

Buddy is still a little cautious around people at first. He may run away if you try to stroke or pick him up too quickly, but once he is in your arms or you are sitting or lying down, he will often choose to come for a fuss. He can be wary of people moving around in the home and may bark initially, but he settles quickly once he realizes your intentions are kind.

He has come on leaps and bounds with confidence: he had his first bath in his previous home and did brilliantly, enjoys zoomies in the garden, and loves watching other dogs play on YouTube! Buddy is food-motivated, has started taking treats from hands, and will happily wear a lead and harness for walks, trotting along nicely on his daily adventures. He enjoys playing with his toys and settling in the lounge with his family in the evenings. He is comfortable with everyday household noises and adapts well to a calm routine.

Having never lived in a home before, Buddy will need patient adopters who can help him continue to gain confidence, reinforce house training, and allow him to settle at his own pace. He shares well with other dogs and will benefit from having a friendly canine companion in his new home to guide him and provide comfort as he grows more secure.

Buddy is an affectionate, clever, and resilient little boy who deserves a calm, loving forever home. With patience, gentle encouragement, and the company of a kind resident dog, he will flourish and reward his family with loyalty, joy, and endless cuddles.
