Shelby has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived she was a shy and worried girl who was quite overwhelmed to find herself here, but she has settled in quite quickly and is already starting to blossom! She will now greet us with a waggy tail and will enjoy a gentle fuss. She can still be worried, especially when there are any loud noises or sudden movements, but she is doing so well.

Shelby will be looking for a calm and quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can be her friend and take her under their wing. She can be a little worried by dogs who are too playful or enthusiastic so she would prefer her new friend to be kind and laid back.

She has never lived in a home before, so everything will be new and strange to her. Her adopters will need to be patient and understanding while she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training.

Since arriving with us she has started to learn all about walking on a lead and is building confidence daily, although is only used to going for walks in quieter areas at the moment. She loves to visit the play yard and especially loves to chase a ball!

Shelby is a truly special girl who just needs the right environment and support to blossom. With time, kindness, and the companionship of a resident dog, Shelby will grow into a loving and loyal companion.
